School Captains and Vice Captains

Creative and performing arts

Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in choirs, dance groups and drama activities. Lunchtime social clubs offer an opportunity to devleop these interests and make new friendships.

GHPS Clubs

At Georges Hall Public School, our wide range of interest clubs lets students explore their creativity, make new friends across the school, and enjoy learning in fun and meaningful ways.

Debating and public speaking

Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events. Georges Hall PS often host regional competitions with parents welcome to attend.

NSW Premier's Spelling Bee

The Premier’s Spelling Bee is a fun and engaging program for NSW public primary school students. It helps students expand their vocabulary, improve spelling, and build confidence as users of language, while supporting literacy development in line with the NSW English K–10 syllabus.

Georges Manor Our Grandfriends

One of the most special programs we have is the Grandfriends program, where we connect with seniors at Georges Manor Aged Care, building friendships across generations. We spend time with the residents, swap stories, and take part in activities together. It’s a wonderful way to build connections between generations and share kindness.

Trips, camps and excursions

Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world. We have a strong connection with Georges Manor retirment  and often enjoy times together.

Student Representative Council

Our Student Representative Council (SRC) empowers student leaders to represent their peers and help shape the school environment. SRC members also organise events that raise funds for important causes, such as Stewart House.
